On July 6, the Republican Museum of Military Glory hosted the grand opening of the exhibition "The Falcon of Bashkortostan", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of twice Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Gareev.
Irik Imangalin, Head of the Department of Socio-Cultural Activities of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, delivered a welcoming speech. He noted the importance of the ongoing work to preserve the memory of the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, natives of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The director of the Republican Museum of Military Glory Ilshat Utyaev made a final speech. He noted that the museum cherishes the memory of the tragic pages of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and widely promotes heroes, one of which is the "Falcon of Bashkortostan" - twice Hero of the Soviet Union M.G. Gareev. Ilshat Islamovich acquainted the visitors with the main milestones and interesting facts of the Hero's biography.
Concert performances were presented by pupils of the teenage club "Eaglet". A tour of the exhibition hall was organized for the guests of the event. The solemn part ended with the laying of flowers at the grave of the hero.
