The National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan hosted the grand opening of the exhibition "The Centennial History of the Sabitov School". The exhibition is demonstrated as part of the Festival of Bashkir Music, the main events of which will take place in Ufa on December 13-16.
The participants were greeted by First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Natalia Lapshina, Deputy Head of the Kirovsky District of Ufa Nina Pavlova, and Director of the Children's Music School No. 1 named after Nariman Sabitov Salavat Kireev. The event was attended by graduates of Children's Music School No. 1 - the son of Nariman Sabitov, composer and conductor Rustem Sabitov, editor-in-chief of "Vechernyaya Ufa" Vyacheslav Golov, former director of the school Rimma Pardabayeva and others.
The exhibition is dedicated to the century-long history of the First Music School of the Republic and to the memory of composer Nariman Sabitov, whose name the institution has been bearing since 1971. The guests followed all the stages of the formation of professional music education in the Republic of Bashkortostan, learned about the key events in the life of the school and its teachers, "felt" the breath of war from the memories of graduates of the 1940s, and also saw rare historical documents.
The exhibition is open until 15 December.
