In Moscow, Zaryadye Park hosted the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan as part of the festival of the Russian Geographical Society.
In the center of Moscow, near Red Square, a delegation from Bashkortostan presented the republic and showed its rich cultural heritage. The festival guests were treated to the Sabantuy sports and game program, exciting master classes, a presentation of the tourism potential of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and lectures on tourism. In the cinema hall, the audience was shown the film by the Bashkir film director Ainur Askarov "The Taganok Detachment" and the film by the State Unitary Enterprise TRK "Bashkortostan" "Valerian Albanov – To the South to Franz Josef Land".
150 artists took part in the 9-hour concert-presentation of the Bashkir culture. It took 40 kilowatts of sound, 50 lighting devices, 100 square meters of LED screens to organize the program. On the main stage of the festival, the folklore ensemble of song and dance "Miras", soloists of the Bashkir State Philharmonic named after. Kh. Akhmetova - Honored Artists of Bashkortostan Diyana Ishniyazova, Ilnur Khairullin (kuray, kubyz), laureates of international competitions Timur Ramazanov, Ildar Abdullin, Alisa Zhumagalieva, Alfiya Nigmatullina, show project "ZAINETDIN", ethnic group "Khazina", orchestra "Bishbarmak" performed. Russian folklore was presented by the UZORITCA group led by Polina Kobets.
During the festival, agreements were reached on the creation of a new interregional tourist route between the Toratau and Undorye geoparks (Ulyanovsk Region) as part of the Bright Weekend in the Volga Region project.
According to the organizers, about 1 million people visited the territory of the Bashkir courtyard during all the days.
