The National Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the Republic of Bashkortostan entered the top three leading Russian orchestras invited to participate in the federal program "Big Tours" ("We are Russia!").

In addition to big tours, the Bashkir team will have a rich festival activity within the framework of the National project "Culture".

The orchestra will perform at the 5th International Festival of Folk Instruments Orchestras "Strings of Siberia" in Novosibirsk from 26 to 28 April 2022.

NOFI will present a solo concert at the Novosibirsk State Philharmonic, which will feature Bashkir melodies and works by Bashkir composers. It will participate in a musical battle with the orchestra of Russian folk instruments "Baikal" of the Republic of Buryatia, after which the orchestras will play several pieces together, including Bashkir ones. It will also present the national flavor and rare sound as part of a master class, which will be held for students of the Novosibirsk College of Music. Young musicians will get acquainted with Bashkir folk instruments, learn their history, and also enjoy national motives.

In addition, in November 2022, the orchestra will take part in the Festival of Professional Orchestras of the National Folk Musical Instruments in Krasnoyarsk.
