The National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan will present the final concert of the 30th season

On June 29 Anton Bruckner's Symphony No. 8 will be performed by the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan at the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan" as part of season No. 1 "Titans of Symphonic Music".

Conducting and telling - the chief conductor of the orchestra, Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Dmitry Kryukov.

Symphony No. 8 in C minor is the most ambitious work of the Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, sounding for more than an hour. The music of the symphony is filled with tragic pathos, and its figurative content develops according to the principle “from darkness to the light”. Some listeners associated its content with the ancient myth of Prometheus - in the first part the image of the hero is depicted, in the second part the hero indulges in fun, in the third part he appears as the bearer of the divine principle, and in the finale the struggle of Prometheus for humanity comes to a happy end.

Other musicians believed that the Eighth Symphony was personified with the image of Faust. The symphony ends with a jubilant, anthem sound.

The concert starts at 7:00 p.m.
