The delegation of the Republic of Bashkortostan takes part in the Festival of the Russian Geographical Society, which takes place from August 18 to 28, 2022 in Moscow on the territory of Zaryadye Park. This year the main theme of the festival was the cipher word “Г-Е-О-Г-Р-А-Ф-И-Я” ("Geography"), where each letter has its own meaning.

The project will last until August 28. For guests of the Festival, folklore groups will perform on the Main Stage of Zaryadye, and exciting master classes will be held in the Lecture Hall. The main task of the project is to show the diversity of Russian regions and awaken in compatriots an interest in traveling around the country.

On August 26, within the framework of the festival of the Russian Geographical Society, the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan will be held in Moscow. The guests of the festival on this day are waiting for the sports and game program "Sabantuy", a quiz with prizes on the geography of Bashkortostan. There will be a big concert with the participation of art masters of the region and the city of Moscow.
