The project "Journey to the Land of Fairy Tales" began its work at the Salavat Bashkir Drama Theater. Its author is the talented actress Ramziya Maksyutova. The purpose of the event is to preserve and develop the Bashkir language and educate a new generation of viewers.

During this unique event, kids not only listen to a fairy tale, but also get acquainted with Bashkir folk instruments, elements of national costume, play forgotten folk games, dance and sing to Bashkir melodies.

 “Grandmothers told us fairy tales, and the information laid down in childhood is remembered for a lifetime. Today's children who speak the Bashkir language and listen to fairy tales in their native language, having matured, will come to the theater to watch the Bashkir performance. The project is just getting started. In the future, it will have new directions, the meetings will be devoted not only to oral folk art, but also to national literature,” says Ramziya Maksyutova.
