From March 4 to 5, the foyer of the Bashkir Academic Drama Theater named after Mazhit Gafuri will host an exhibition "Rizaitdin Fakhreddin: spirituality, culture and education" of the Rizaitdin Fakhreddin Memorial Museum. It is timed to coincide with the premiere of the play "The Vicissitudes of Fate" based on the work "Asma, or Misdemeanor and Punishment" by Rizaitdin Fakhretdinov (staged by Shaura Shakurova). It is noteworthy that this is the first traveling exhibition of the museum in Ufa.

At the opening of the exhibition, the director of the museum, Dilyara Gimranova, noted that only a small proportion of museum materials were presented in the exhibition.

“The fund of the museum of Rizaitdin Fakhreddin is very rich. It contains books published during the life of the scientist, his manuscripts and personal belongings. At this exhibition, we tried to reflect those periods when the scientist worked and lived in Ufa,” said Dilyara Gabdlkavievna and invited everyone present to visit the museum, which is located in the village of Kichuchatovo, Almetyevsk district of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The exhibition in Ufa presents about 40 rare, unique exhibits and artifacts: The Shura magazine (1910), the pedagogical publications “Edification”, the “Well-Brought-Up Wife”, the “Well-Brought-Up Mother”, the literary works “Salima, or Chastity”, “Asma, or Deed and Punishment” (in one binding), historical and encyclopedic publications “Asar” and his work “Comments on the Sayings of the Prophet Muhammad”, photographs from business trips and from the family archive.

From the personal belongings of Rizaitdin Khazret, the museum brought his embroidered prayer rug, which he carefully used for 27 years.

“Our museum is engaged not only in the storage of documents and things of the theologian. We publish his books from time to time, because they were published in their time using Arabic script. We also translate the works of the educator into Russian,” said Dilyara Gimranova, candidate of philological sciences, in an interview with the “Cultural World of Bashkortostan”.
