On a good tradition, within the Days of Slavic Written Language and Culture in Krasnokamsk district, on May 20, the National Folklore Festival "Nikola Veshny" was held on the square of the historical and cultural center "Nikolsky Temple".
This is the only festival where the church and secular, spiritual communion and folk fun are combined in a unique way. The Republican folklore festival "Nikola Veshny", held during the Days of Slavic Written Language and Culture, is a non-commercial cultural and mass event and has a historical and cultural-educational character. The festival unites artists, craftsmen, musicians, representatives of various styles of Slavic culture, buffoons, people of creative professions and all those who simply love, are interested in the history and culture of their native land and native land. Every year the scale of the celebration is expanding.
The organizers of the holiday are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the State Bank of Friendship of the Peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the NGO "The Cathedral of Russian Bashkortostan", the Administration of the municipal district of Krasnokamsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The bright and emotional performance of the honored artist of the Russian Federation, People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Vladimir Belov became an ornament of the holiday.
On this day, in memory of the Grand Duchess's stay in the village of Nikolo-Berezovka in 1910 and 1914, a memorial tablet was erected and opened on the wall of the Trinity-Nicholas Church.
In 2017 39 creative groups of amateur performances from the Orenburg region, the Republics of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan (Menzelinsky district), the Udmurt Republic (Kambarka, Votkinsk) and the Perm Krai (settlement Kueda) took part in the festival.
From the Republic of Bashkortostan, creative teams from 10 districts (Birsky, Buraevsky, Dyurtyulin, Davlekanovskiy, Ilishevsky, Kaltasinsky, Mishkinsky, Tatyshlinsky, Tuimazinsky, Yanaulsky) took part, 7 cities (Agidel, Birsk, Davlekanovo, Neftekamsk, Oktyabrsky, Sterlitamak, Ufa).
National farmsteads have traditionally designed village settlements of the region:
- Russian farmstead - JV Kuyanovo village council;
- Bashkir yurt was registered by the Novokainlykovsky village council;
- The Tartar farmstead was represented by the Novoyansigitov village council;
- Mariyskoye podvorye - JV Arlanovsky village council.
The exhibition of Master Craftsmen presented the works of more than 100 participants from Krasnokamsky district and other regions of Russia (Stavropol Krai, Kislovodsk, Vladimir, Moscow, Neftekamsk, Karakulino, Udmurt Republic, Bashkir Cossack Host, Beloretsky District of the Republic of Bashkortostan).
The folklore festival ended with the sound of a bell ringing. Guests of the holiday were pleased with 9 bell ringers of the republic, who performed compositions: "Holiday Bell", "Holiday Nikolsky Bell", "Spring Joy", "Easter Bell", "Sunday Bell".
Within the framework of the program of the ethno-regional study tour "Nikola Veshniy" the House of Friendship of the Peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan, a tourist group of the youth council of the Friendship House of the Peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan was sent to the Krasnokamsky district. For them, a program was prepared with participation in the folklore festival "Nikola Veshny", an excursion along the village of Nikola Veshny. Nikolo-Berezovka with a visit to the Elizabethan deposit and the monastery park, a meeting with the youth council of the Krasnokamsky district, a visit to the regional museum of local lore with participation in the republican action "Museums Night 2017".
The folklore festival Nikola Veshny is held in Krasnokamsky district since 1994. The event has already become an integral part of the cultural life of Bashkortostan.
