Today in the Bashkir Art Museum named after MV Nesterov, the opening of the exhibition from the collection of works of the East - "The Art of China".

The exposition presents more than a hundred works, most of which are exhibited for the first time. These are products of various types of decorative and applied arts and fine arts: sculpture, painting, porcelain, cloisonne and painted enamel, artistic bronze, stone carvings, bones, wood, and embroidery. Works of the exhibition on the time frame cover a segment from the XVIII to XX century and give a broad idea of ​​the traditions of art crafts in China.

The curator of the exhibition, the candidate of art criticism Kapina Tatiana delivered a lecture on the traditional art of China. Also at the opening were director of the museum Ayrat Teregulov, chief curator of the museum Valentina Sorokina, deputy director for scientific activities Svetlana Ignatenko and others.

Note that the opening of the exhibition was visited by the delegation of the Buryat Theater "Ulger", which arrived in Ufa on tour.

The exhibition is a continuation of the collection of the countries of the East, this spring the museum exhibited works of art from Japan.
