On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, an exhibition-showcase “For You, Future Defenders of the Fatherland” was organized in the Department of Periodicals of the National Library named after A.Z. Validi.

The exhibition presents the entire chronology of the military history of Russia on the pages of 23 periodicals: Military History Magazine, Russian History, Motherland, Russian Federation Today, the newspaper Zvezda, Vatandash, Amanat, Ufa ”,“ Panorama of Bashkortostan ”,“ Yenshishmu ”,“ Military Thought ”,“ Military Knowledge ”,“ Our Youth ”and others, telling about the events of military history, about the heroic past and about the trials that our people and armed forces in the defense of the Fatherland, as well as in clearly illustrated m materials

According to the head of the department of periodicals, Ilvery Muslimova, the goal of the exhibition is to educate a socially active person, a citizen and a patriot of Russia on examples of the country's heroic past, to develop readers' interest in literature on military topics.
