The opening ceremony was attended by the head of the cultural representation at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Cultural Advisor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian Federation, Mr. Reza Maleki, First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Valentina Latypova, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps, cultural and art figures.

Valentina Vladimirovna on behalf of the Ministry of Culture of Bashkortostan greeted the audience and noted the fruitful work within the framework of cultural bilateral cooperation of the republics.

- The relations between the Republic of Iran and the Republic of Bashkortostan are developing very efficiently and fruitfully, especially in recent years. For example, in July of this year the I Russian-Iranian socio-cultural forum was productive. Regularly held exchange exhibitions, concerts, days of Iranian culture. We thank the Embassy of the Republic of Iran for the opportunity to once again touch on the beauties of Iranian culture, "said Valentina Latypova.

The photo exhibition unites a series of works revealing the historical and cultural heritage of Iran: traditional and ethnographic arts and crafts, natural diversity, Iran-Islamic architecture, including historical monuments included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. At the exhibition you can also see a variety of products of craftsmen.
