The United Nations in Geneva heard the Bashkir epic "Ural batyr"

In the UN building in Geneva (Switzerland) listened to the Bashkir epic "Ural batyr". The event was organized in honor of the International Mother Language Day, which was celebrated around the world on 21 February.

In the lobby of the building were installed interactive screens with languages ​​selected by UN staff. On the screen representatives of different ethnic groups told fragments from epics, fairy tales in their native languages. Among the 15 languages ​​was Bashkir. Visitors could also get acquainted with the Bashkir orally-poetic creativity performed by Aysilu Yanturina-Darles.
