On July 5, the anniversary of the beginning of the Battle of Kursk, a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the defeat of the German troops in the Battle of Kursk by the Soviet troops was held at the Victory Museum.

The meeting was held by the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society Vladimir Medinsky.

During the meeting, a proposal was made to include the theme of victory in the Battle of Kursk in the program of the All-Russian action “Cinema Night”, the date of which coincides with the day of the end of the battle.
