November 15, the V Republican Museum Forum "Actual Issues of Museums of the Republic of Bashkortostan" will be held on the basis of the A. P. Shokurov Oktabrsky Museum of Local History.

The Republican Museum Forum is an annual corporate platform for heads of state and municipal museums of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The forum participants will discuss the results of museum activities in 2018 and prospects for work in the coming years, taking into account the upcoming anniversaries - the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2019 and the 100th anniversary of the birth of the National poet of Bashkortostan Mustai Karim in 2019, the World Folkloriad in 2020 .

Reports of representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, heads of state and municipal museums will be devoted to the development of museums in the sociocultural space of Bashkortostan and the general problems of the museum network of the republic, the best projects of state museums and the experience of municipal museums in the countryside. Companies engaged in promotion of multimedia computer equipment and software development for museums and other cultural institutions will take part in the forum.

The forum is organized by: the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Administration of the City District of the Oktyabrsky Republic of Bashkortostan, the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Oktyabrsky Local History Museum named after A. Shokurov.
