Yesterday the All-Russian festival of modern choreography “The Wind of Change” opened in the City Cultural and Leisure Center.
Ahead of the participants is waiting for three days filled with bright events - the synthesis of dance and modern art, bold experiments and the expression of internal experiences.

More than 20 teams from the Republic of Bashkortostan, Chelyabinsk Region and Yekaterinburg will compete for the Grand Prix.

The All-Russian festival of modern choreography “Wind of Changes” was first held in 2004 and immediately became one of the most popular events among youth groups working in the direction of modern pop dance. From year to year, it provides an opportunity for everyone to become part of the cultural space, to the participants the chance to express themselves, show their world view, their point of view. Recall that in 2012 the festival of modern choreography “Wind of Change” received the status of All-Russian. The objectives of the festival are the promotion and development of modern choreographic art, aesthetic education of young people, the definition of the prospects for the development of the modern choreography genre.

The organizers of the large-scale event are the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the State Russian House of Folk Art named after V.D. Polenov, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Republican Center of Folk Art.
