July 14, in the village of Yulamanovo, Aurgazinsky District, the Republican holiday “Uyav-2018” was held.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, the House of Friendship of Peoples of the Republic of Belarus, the Administration of the Municipal District of Aurgazinsky District of the Republic of Belarus, the Chuvash national-cultural autonomies of Sterlitamak and Aurgazinsky District.

The festival was attended by folk groups and individual performers, retain and promote in his work the tradition of Aurgazinsky, Karmaskalinsky, Sterlitamak, Miyakinskogo, Fedorovsky, Bizhbulyakskogo, Davlekanovskogo, Ishimbai, Ufa districts and cities Ufa, Sterlitamak, Belebey and Meleuz. Guests from Chuvashia came to take part in the event - two folklore groups - the ensemble “Shăpcăk” from the Shumerlyn region and the folk ensemble “Shuçăm” from the Marpasad district.

For all the participants, here in the glade, on large cauldrons, Chuvash national dishes “Kakai Shurpi” and “Pasta” were prepared. And they watered the guests with the Chuvash national drink săra.

As part of the holiday, traditional “Kĕreshÿ” wrestling, sports competitions and games, competitions of farmsteads, Chuvash national dishes and Chuvash national drink săra were also held.
