Today in the Park of I.Yakutov held a festive event dedicated to the Day of the Slavic literature and culture. The origins of this holiday, as is known, are inextricably linked with the celebration of the Holy Apostles Cyril and Methodius - the enlighteners of the Slavs, the creators of the Slavic alphabet. Day of Slavic literature and culture is celebrated annually on May 24.
Natalya Lapshina, First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Assembly of the Peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan Zugura Rakhmatullina, head of the culture department of the Ufa Diocese, Archpriest Yevgeny Sheryshev, as well as residents and guests of the capital, became guests of honor of the holiday.
Natalya Mikhailovna congratulated all those present on behalf of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan and noted the important role of the culture of the Slavic peoples in the spiritual development of the multinational Bashkortostan.
Folk ensembles, creative teams and soloists of the republic took part in the festive program.
Recall that in Bashkortostan, within the framework of the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture, large-scale events are taking place: the Republican holiday of the old Russian song “We were at the Red Yar” in the village of Krasny Yar of the Ufa district, the Republican folklore holiday “Nikola Veshny” in the Krasnokamsk district, the Folklore festival “Crimson bells "in the Belebey district.
From May 24 to 25, performers from all over the republic will present their work at the Republican Open Competition of the old Russian song “Songs of the Native Land”. According to the organizers, the gala concert will be held on May 25 in the village of Krasny Yar, Ufa district, within the framework of the XXVIII Republican holiday of the old Russian song "We were at the Red Yar". Beginning at 11 o'clock.
The competition of the old Russian song is held in order to preserve the traditions of Russian song culture, Russian folklore in the multicultural space of the Republic of Bashkortostan and is aimed at preparing creative groups for the World Folklore 2020.
