Today, October 22, a memorial evening was held in the Great Hall of the Bashkir State Philharmonic named after Kh.Akhmetov dedicated to the anniversary of the poet, journalist, honored art worker of the BASSR, honored cultural worker of the BASSR Yakub Kulmyy.
Famous writers, cultural and art workers, public figures and many others came to commemorate the memory of the great poet for the festive evening.
On behalf of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic, the head of department Amina Shafikova spoke. She noted the outstanding talent of the poet, known to all thanks to the beautiful songs. “With his sincere works, Yakub Kulmy entered the golden fund of the republic’s culture. From childhood, he loved to sing and play kurai, thanks to which his poems are so melodic,” the minister noted.
In the program of the Evening, songs were sung to the poems of Yakub Kulmyya, poetry recordings in his performance. That evening, soloists Lilia Ishemyarova, Minzif Iskuzhina, Gulnara Valeeva, actors of the Bashkir Academic Drama Theater named after Bolshevik performed on the stage of the Bashkir State Philharmonic Hall. M. Gafuri, amateur groups of Ishimbay district.
Recall the festive events with the participation of poets, writers of the republic, relatives and relatives of Yakub Kulmyy were also held in the poet’s small homeland - in the village of Kanakaevo, Ishimbay district.
Yakub Kulmy - author of more than 20 poetry books. He also showed himself as a prose writer, writing creative portraits of Bashkir artists and artists (Husain Kudashev, Badar Yusupova, Galia Imasheva and others). Over 100 popular songs have been created for his poems, including the music of such famous composers as Zagir Msmagilov, Kamil Rakhimov. The songs "My Motherland", "My Ural", "Shepherd's Songs", "Nightingale", "Song of Happiness", "Ufa Waltz", and "The Water-Lily Don't Dari" entered the golden fund of Bashkir musical culture.
Throughout his life and work, Yakub Kulmy dedicated to serving his native land, singing its beauty, sympathizing with and empathizing with its difficult, but great fate. A lyric poet, a warrior poet, a songwriter, an experienced journalist - he made an invaluable contribution to the development of the culture of our republic.
The name of the poet will never be forgotten in people's memory, because the songs written in his words have become truly folk, they are sung both old and young, they are modern for each generation.
