Today on the stage of the Bashkir Theater of Opera and Ballet the premiere of the ballet “Morozko” was staged by the Honored Art Worker of Russia Alexander Polubentsev (St. Petersburg). The performance was presented by students of the Bashkir Choreographic College. Rudolf Nureyev. It should be noted that this is the third joint work of Alexander Mikhailovich with college students. Two previous ballet performances - "The Snow Queen" and "How to become a ballerina" - with great success go to the concert venues in Ufa to this day. The event was visited by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Amina Shafikova.

The production designer Fania Nizamova worked on the creation of costumes and props, and the headdresses of the characters were made in Yekaterinburg. The choreography, rich in dance vocabulary, comes alive on the stage to the music of XIX-XX centuries composers - compositions by Sviridov, Russian folk melodies, and others sound.
