Today in Ufa a regular concert was held within the framework of the All-Russian Festival of Choirs, Song and Dance Ensembles "Voices of Russia". On the Ufa stage the State Academic Russian People's Ensemble "Russia" named after Lyudmila Zykina performed.

The organizers of the big festival are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Administration of the Urban District of Ufa, the Bashkir State Philharmonic named after H.Akhmetov.

The team presented the program "Here is my pier and here my friends", the soloist was the People's Artist of Russia Nadezhda Krygin. Also soloed Oleg Piskunov (prima-balalaika), Dmitry Matryushin (domra), Vladimir Dunaev (balalaika), Louise Nuriyeva (domra small), our fellow Ruslan Bikkulov (bayan), and others.

The All-Russian Festival of Choirs, Song and Dance Ensembles "Voices of Russia" takes place in Ufa for the first time. On September 24, the State Academic Siberian Russian Folk Choir was the first to perform on the stage of State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan". On September 30, the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan (Kazan) took part in the GDK. The folklore ensemble of song and dance "Miras" of the city of Ufa will finish the program on October 17 at the GDK stage.
