International contest-festival of Turkic youth "Ural mono-2018" started in Ufa under the Federal Target Program "Culture of Russia (2012-2018)" and preparations for the World Folklore-2020 in Ufa. A grandiose event in the world of Turkic music once again opened unlimited opportunities for communication, development and strengthening of friendship between peoples. The best creative teams and performers from the near abroad and regions of the Russian Federation have again come to Bashkortostan: participants from the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Sakha (Yakutia), Dagestan, Altai, Tyva, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Moscow and Astrakhan region.

June 7 in the Park of Culture and Rest of M. Gafuri hosted an evening of acquaintances of guests - participants of the festival, here was the grand opening of a grand forum.

Honored guests were present at the grand opening: Deputy Director of the State Russian House of Folk Art Andrey Belyaev, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Amina Shafikova.

The holiday opened with the sound of a kurai performed by the famous musician Murat Janizakov. For the contestants, the evening continued with an exciting moment - a toss-up. Before you find out under what number they will perform, the participants had to go through a real quartet. At first the guests of the festival were invited to take a barrel of honey, at the bottom of each room there was a room. On them the participants passed into the cockpit of the Ferris wheel "The Seventh Heaven". It is symbolic that the drawing of the international competition was held here, because the circle - as a symbol of wholeness and unity, united today on one site the fraternal peoples. In each booth, Bashkir beauties were waiting for the participants in national costumes with gift music books "Bashort khalҡynyң altyn miraҫy" ("The Golden Heritage of the Bashkir people"). Through the pages of these publications, the contestants found the numbers under which they would speak. Thus, by the drawing of lots, Olga Spiridonova from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) will be the first to compete tomorrow.

The first day of the forum ended with the performance of a Bashkir pop star, member of the jury "Ural mono" Diana Ishniyazova.
Ahead of the participants and guests is an equally rich program reflecting the rich culture of the Turkic peoples. June 8 at 10.00 hours will begin the selection screenings. And at 19.00 in the Bashkir State Philharmonic Society of H. Akhmetov will host a concert of the festival participants and awarding the winners.
