Today in the republic for the 28th time the International Aksakov holiday began. Traditionally, the XXVIII International Aksakovsky holiday will be held on the territory of municipal districts and urban districts of the republic related to the life and work of Sergei Timofeevich Aksakov.

“This wonderful holiday has a special meaning for the republic, it has become its brand. Every year at this time we remember the glorious Aksakovs family, which has become emblematic in the formation of the region”, said one of the organizers of the holiday, director of the House of Peoples Friendship Azat Ibrahimov.

This morning a solemn ruler and honor lesson took place in the Ufa Command River School. At 11 o'clock the Aksakov class was held for pupils of the Aksakov school-gymnasium №11. Aksakov's lessons were held by the guests of honor: President of the Moscow University of Engineers of Geodesy and Cartography, assignee of the Land Survey Institute, whose first director was S. Aksakov, member of the Board of Trustees of the Aksakov Foundation, pilot-cosmonaut of the USSR, twice Hero of the Soviet Union V. Savinykh; a member of the Board of Trustees of the Aksakov Fund, one of the organizers of the exploratory polar expedition in the footsteps of the outstanding polar explorer V.I. Albanov, a former high school student of the Ufimskaya Aksakovskaya gymnasium N.F. Gavrilov.

Then the holiday moved to the S.T. Memorial House Museum. Aksakov at the opening of the exhibition, organized jointly with the historical and cultural center "Museum S.T. Aksakov "Moscow University of Engineers of Geodesy and Cartography" Oh, the spirit, the only sword - Free Word "and the museum. The exhibition is timed to the 195th anniversary of the birth of Ivan Sergeevich Aksakov. “This exhibition is mobile - we opened it in Abramtsevo, then it visited Moscow, Crimea, Orenburg. After Ufa, the exhibition will move to Samara, we are planning to exhibit in Bulgaria, ”noted the writer, public figure, chairman of the Aksakov Foundation, Mikhail Chvanov.

In the Garden of Culture and Rest named after S.T. Aksakova held folk festivals, a theatrical performance, a concert with the participants of urban artistic groups. Also work of exhibitions of arts and crafts and folk art was organized.
