II Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition ended with a grandiose gala concert. The evening began with the solemn speech of the art director of the Competition Vladimir Spivakov.

"I thank everyone who supported the contest - a wonderful jury, a wonderful excellent audience, who supported us with kindness, love», - Maestro said.

The award ceremony was held by the jury members: Chairman Mikhail Kopelman (USA), Vladimir Spivakov (Russia), Boris Kushnir (Austria), Qian Zhou (Singapore), Takashi Shimizu (Japan) and Sergei Dogadin (Russia).

Special prizes were given to Dennis Gasanov (Russia), Sophi Rochlin (Israel), Anna Milman (Spain), Stepan Starikov (Russia), Asiya Garipova (Russia). Special prize "Hope" from the Musti Karim Foundation, on the day of memory of the national poet of the republic, was handed by Timerbulat Karimov. The awards "Hope" were awarded to Fedor Beznosikov and Maria Duenas.

The winner of competition, 15-year-old Maria Duenas from Spain, was presented with a certificate for the main prize - a unique violin, created in 1912 by the Italian master Riccardo Antoniazzi.

The winner of the second prize, Fyodor Beznosikov (Russia), received a certificate for the violin of French master Jules Grangjon (Paris, 1848).

The Japanese Issei Kurihara became the owner of the violin of Igor Ulitsky (Moscow, 2017). The diploma of the winner of the fourth prize was awarded to Stepan Starikov (Russia).

In the second section of the celebration, the winner fulfilled her long-standing dream - she performed with the Maestro on the same stage. With the accompaniment of the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the soloists of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, Maria performed Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No.1 by Niccolo Paganini.
