In Ufa the 28th exhibition-festival “Ufa-Ladia. Art. Crafts. Souvenirs" will held for the fifth time. The exposition will be located on the site VDNH-Expo.

The exhibition-festival is held in order to revive the traditions of folk art of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Russian Federation. This is part of the big work that is being done in the republic on the eve of the 6th World Folklor Folklore, which will be held in Ufa in 2020.

The largest exhibition in the Volga Federal District and the only exhibition of handicrafts and crafts in the republic “Ufa-Ladia. Art. Crafts. Souvenirs” is about 250 craftsmen from 40 districts of Bashkortostan and 19 regions of Russia (Moscow, Kurgan, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saratov, Omsk, Sverdlovsk, Tver, Ulyanovsk, Chelyabinsk regions, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Mari El and Dagestan, Perm region and others). For the first time, collective stands of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kirov region will be presented at the Ufa exhibition-festival. Artisans from Belarus also travel to Ufa especially for the exhibition.

All days of the exhibition in the conference halls of the exhibition complex VDNH-EXPO UFA will be held round tables, educational events and master classes for children and adults. Under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Innovation Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the contest of the best craftsmen - craftsmen "Master - Golden Hands" will be held. The exhibition will also host the XI Republican festival-contest "Bashkir Shawl - 2018". In the networking area, it will be possible to negotiate with potential partners - entrepreneurs willing to cooperate with artisans and craftsmen. Folklore and dance groups from different parts of Bashkortostan will perform on the stage. A special place in the concert program is given to the performance of children with disabilities.
