Atysh, Atyshsky Grotto - karst grotto, formed in Mount Kuz-ide-tash Atysh underground river, which forms the waterfall of the same name. The cave is located in the South Urals, Bashkortostan Beloretsk area.
Several centuries ago, the water rushes down not by one, but multiple threads. One fell out of the hole with a height of over 10 meters, and the second was where the entrance to the cave grotto. Third rushed up there, where now destroying the cave. Now rocky grotto stands at 2-4 m above the river level. Over time, the water will blur bridge and waterfall will disappear the cave shape change. The width of the mainsail - 6 m, height - 4.5 m, depth - 10 meters.
Grotto is interesting because archeological excavations. Found the remains of fish (grayling, trout, pike, etc.) Of the units Saimoniformes, Esociformes, Cypriniformes, Perciformes, just over 200 types of scales. They originate from the Holocene sediments and deposited together with the remains of large and small mammals.
