Farid Ergaliev is a member of the Artists` Union of Russia. He is the holder of the award "The Merited Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan" and currently lives and works in Ufa city, Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia.

His artistic training includes his studies at "Folk Arts Studio" in the city of Novosibirsk (1978-1984) and at Novosibirsk State School of Arts (1984-1988) which he graduated.

Since 1980 Farid Ergaliev has participated in regional, all-Russian, and international exhibitions, including special international and major group exhibitions.

Farid Ergaliev`s creative work incorporates his 12 personal exhibitions.

His artistic works are being kept in various locations and depositories in Russia and overseas including the following:

- State Museums of Arts in the Russian cities Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Ioshkar-Ola and Kaliningrad;

- private art collections in Russia and CIS;

- international Art Galleries in New York, North Wales, London; Art Galleries of the Ministry of Science and Culture in Lower Saksonia in Hanover, Germany; in Ankara and Mayor`s Office in the city of Isparta, Turkey;

- private art collections in Austria, UK, Germany, India, Turkey, Switzerland, Japan and the USA.

His emotional belief is that paintings are like ancients manuscripts, or mysteries. His knowledge of modern music and his love for its content and orchestral arrangement have influenced the compositional aspect of works. The images created by him, while keeping their author's originality, reveal the similarity with the images of modern arts.
