Creative  biography:

The futures singer’s musical abilities were seen from his childhood. The music could be heard at home: parents, brothers and sisters used to sing popular soviet songs and national songs – Bashkir, Tatar and Russian. Radik caught melody, passing easily from language to language and acquired the methods of national performance – two-voice throat singing (he used this expressive method   in  “Ural”). In the age of 15 he entered a musical school and later vocal faculty of the Ufa Institute of Arts (nowadays USIS). All his qualities, beautiful voice, good look, working capacity have been noticed.

Being the student of 2 year he has been invited to the  Opera Theatre where he had been working until his death.

There were parties Onegina ("Evgenie Onegin" by Tchaikovsky), Zhermona (Verdi's "Traviata"), Figaro («The Barber of Seville» by Rossini), Aksesena («Ambassadors of Ural Mountains» by Zagir Ismagilov), Moralesa ("Carmen" by Bizet) in his opera repertoire.

Radik Gareev was known to public and we love it not only as the opera singer, but also as the concert executor with the extensive and various repertoire including products classics, national creativity and composers of Bashkortostan.

Salavat Nizametdinov, a composer:

- We used to gather in the evenings and we enjoy being visited by guests. In  15 minutes Radik managed to roast a tasty potato  and brew aromatic tee and then I showed him a just written song or romance and he tried at once to perform it. Radik was my first listener and performer of my many compositions.

 

Two days before his death he said to wife Najiya: “I am the artist! Burry me dressed in a concert suit.”
