Venera Galimova was born in Ufa in 1937.

She has graduated from the Leningrad Choreographic School (1947-1956). Since `1956 she worked at the Bashkir State Theatre of Opera and Ballet (till 1976); since 1986 - a teacher of the classical dance at the Bashkir Choreographic School named after R.Nureev. The main parts: Gulnara (“Korsar” by A.Adan), Zhizel (“Zhizel” by A.Adan), Nikiya (“La Bayadere” by Leon Minkus), Anel (“The blue Danube” by Strauss), Odette Odile (“Swan Lake” by Chaikovsky), Maria (“The fountain of Bakhchisary” by Boris Asafiev, Masha ("The Nutracker” by Chaikovsky), Juliette (“Romeo and Juliette” by S.Prokofiev), Galima (“Black faced” by K.Zaimov and A.Chugaev) and others. She is a participant of the Decade of Bashkir Literature and Art in Moscow (1955), the days of culture of BASSR in Ulyanovsk (1968) and Leningrad (1969), She is a techer of T.Krasnova, A.Khasanova, G.Khalitova. She is a member of the Union of theatrical Workers (1961).
