He was awarded the Republican premium RSFSR named after A.M.Gorky, the Republican premium named after Salavat Yulaev, the order of Badge of Honor.

From 1960 to 1952 he was the deputy editor in chief of the magazine “Agidel”. In 1967 year he is the editor of literature department of peoples USSSR and CIS “Literature newspaper”. He is the author of many stories and novels translated into over 15 languages of peoples CIS and foreign countries.
