But honorable artist of Russia and Bashkortostan, a laureate of all-Russian folk song festival, Republican contest of young singers named after G.S. Almuchatetov and State Prize named after Salavat Ulaev is very popular far beyond Republican borders.
„I always kept melodies in mind very quickly“ – the singer says – „I learned the aria of Salavat by heart from radio and even sang it. I always liked serious music and was fond of classical arias and romances and when the time to choose profession came I decided I would be a singer. I failed to enter the vocal department of Ufa Art College and entered the department of choir conducting. I was singing „TASHTUGAY“ and „BYLBYLYM“ at the entrance exams“.
„Thanks to folk songs I toured all over Europe – Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Italy and France“ – Flura Kildiarova tells – „I played folklore programs in China, Turkey, Copenhagen, Dresden, Leipzig and Halle“.
In 2006 Flura Kildiarova has introduced her book „The Pearls of Ural“ – about her life and art. Specialists say the uniqueness of the book is that it contains the larger part of pieces of art from the singer’s repertoire, which notes are hard to find at the present time.
