Creative biography:

He is known not only in the Republic but far beyond its borders. He is the author of numerous musical works, symphonies, chorus and instrumental works and music for dramatic plays. Serious ailment hasn’t prevented him from reaching so substantial successes. Salavat Nizametdinov is blind from birth but with excellent sense of time. Intuition always helped him.

Salavat Nizametdinov was born in the mining settlement MINDYAK, Utchalinsky region RB. He finished specialized school in Ufa, where played in a brass-band.

He has got professional education at Ufa Institute of Arts. After that he was affiliated with the Union of composers of the USSR.

While being a student Salavat Nizametdinov has won international music festival in Prague.

His vocal symphony „The talk with Salavat“ was marked at the International festival in Czechoslovakia and was rewarded with the golden medal in Moscow.

In 2006 the opera „Memento“ has brought the composer the rank of laureate at the international festival „The Philanthropist“. In 2007 he was called a laureate of the Award by Dmitry Shostakovich of Russian Union of composers.

Though Salavat Nizametdinov is a composer of different genres, opera is his favorite genre since work over it demands hard labor and much time but every second gives him joy and pleasure. The composer calls the birth of music an unexplainable process. It sounds itself, when good poem is at hand.

Love also contributes to writing music. The women, surrounding him, gave him four children and were always his muses and inspiration.

Now maestro is found in Moscow in the Art House „RUZA“, where he is working at his sixth opera „NAKI“ for the play „Ural-Batyr“ and jointly with Valentine Zagoransky he is writing the seventh opera by the story of Alexander Kuprin „The Garnet Bracelet“.

Being the chairman of the Union of composers RB Salavat Nizametdinov will participate in the summary concert of Bashkir composers to be held at the end of September – the beginning of October this year.

In the days of celebration of the 450th anniversary of Bashkiria free-will joining Russia the composer will take part in the opening ceremony of the Friendship House.
